After twenty years of sailing camaraderie with over 150 FOF students on the oceans of the world, our Walt Whitman Sailing Society came across the opportunity of owning a boat in timeshare.
This project is designed to encourage sailing camaraderie under the inspirational guidance of Walt Whitman and Poseidon.
We also want to allow the teenagers of our community, students on salary and students on budget to sail at a lower cost.
· General program: On the path of the great seafarers: Vasco de Gama, Magellan, La Bourdonnais, Christopher Columbus, Jacques Cartier. In order to reduce the airfare transportation costs, we will limit the sailing areas to the Atlantic shores, and mostly in warm latitudes, during the next two years (from July 2006 to September 2008). It includes Europe, West Africa, Caribbeans
